Peter,

I am having a hard time taking this ring off my finger.  It's spectacular.  The blue in the stone is so gorgeous and the setting ... ah what can I say ... magnifique!  A perfect design, perfect weight, perfect balance.  It barely moves on my finger, i.e., I can flash it without trying.

In business meetings, men sneak glances.  Women ask outright "what kind of stone is that"  followed by "are those real diamonds too"?  You can imagine the reaction I get from friend.  Generally I don't care if others notice my jewelry.  I like what I like.  Something about this is different.  I am getting a kick out of the reactions it sparks.

I was in London last week and wore this lovely bauble although usually I wouldn't wear something so fab (expensive) while traveling.  Oh was it FUN.  I spent a good hour in the "Fine Jewelry and Watches" room in Harrods looking at the wares.  Norm was next door in one of the food courts (bet you're surprised).  Harrod's had a lovely Carrerra counter and some nice things in Cartier.  However, nothing as lovely as what I already had on my hand.

Thanks again and happy anniversary to me.  Tlk

P. s.  Nice web site.  :-)

Ranting on…. Gees won’t you just stop all this silly journal writing, like anyone really cares!!!!!!!

Just kidding. I had a few minutes free tonight and was wondering through your site. The bracelet is amazing and the story that goes with it makes it even more special. It never stops amazing me the connection and satisfaction that you have with your work.

Happy holidays, or Merry festuvus. What ever floats your boat. I am actually somewhat in the Christmas spirit this year. It must be the fact that we only have 65 more days in the cold of Lexington. We are extremely excited and a little stressed. There is a lot to do between know and the move. If you need any furniture, everything in our house is going to be for sale. Everything must go and crazy Kevin’s furniture! We found a house to rent last week and signed a lease. It is right on the water and pretty nice. You can look at it on the web. www.Liminvilla.com. Obviously, it will no longer be a vacation rental.

Unfortunately with the move, I will not be making my normal last minute trip to see you, but we are going to be coming up just after the first of the year. It is time for the mini to get her oil changed, and for one last trip to see you and family before the move. Probably either Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully we can all go out to dinner.

Wish Courtney and the Bean our best, and we will see you soon.

... my daughter, just faxed me a copy of The Blue Diamond and I so enjoyed reading it.  My husband and I will go through our jewelry tonight to see if we have any gold that we might sell to you or better yet trade in a custom piece of jewelry for me.  I will send it to Tracy to bring in.  I enjoyed seeing first hand all the beautiful pieces you had in your cases when I visited her at Christmas.

I was also so glad to get your email address because I thought several time of writing you to tell how very please I was with the eagle ring you designed for Hank.  I gave it to him Christmas while we were in Cincinnati and he was blown away with it.  You were so kind to let me have it at such a low price and certainly hope you are able to regain your loss on the next piece that you do using the mold.

I have checked out all your work on your website – it is exquisite and hopefully some day soon I will be wearing a pair of your earrings or a slide.

Peter- The Tahitian pearl pendant you designed is extraordinary. Your
vision and execution of that vision actually took my breath away once I
saw the completed piece. I can't thank you enough for giving my pearl such
a beautiful "home" to live in and to be showcased.... Your brilliance came
through once again.... Thanks so much.  I look forward to wearing it on
vacation and will proudly pass on your name...

You are the BEST.  Thanks... A. M.

I just wanted to let you know how nice the bracelet was that you had made for me Courtney.  You did a very good job and I have had a lot of comments on it.  Thanks Again  Missy

................................................

This is long overdue, my apologies...suffice it to say that about two
years ago I called requesting diamond earrings.  I called you Peter
because I knew I could trust you for the highest quality stones,
craftsmanship, and customer service.  After several short, fun
conversations, I ended up with the most wonderful pair of diamond
studs.  I have worn them non-stop ever since.  They have gotten me
through pregnancy, childbirth, motherhood, and much more.  I love
them just as much today as when I first opened the box - I smile at
them every time I look in the mirror.  They are the perfect earrings
for me - and my little girl really likes them too!  Peter, thank you
for a job exceedingly well done!  Feel free to post any or all of
this.  You are a jeweler and a gentleman.

All the best,

Peter,

I have to let you know  (in writing) how incredible my pendant/necklace is!  I am honored by the words on your web site - First to be held in such high regards, and secondly because the real honor is to be a teacher and have the opportunity to meet such incredible people.

The other day as I had Enquirer beat reporter, Mark Curnutte in my classroom to discuss the 'writing process' he re-iterated so much of what I preach that the kids believed we must have discussed so many of the ideas before he entered the classroom.  Nope, I told them it was an accident...Sometimes things just turn out that way - perfect connections aren't always planned.

I'm so big on metaphors and life's bigger meaning - Every time I look at the necklace it reminds me of my love for my Irish heritage.  The three designs coming from the stone - represent the Trinity, and the circle represents the Alpha & the Omega - eternity -  We never discussed these things, it just happened.  It's absolutely perfect!

I'm so honored that you and Courtney trust your wonderful son to me everyday, and support my efforts as a teacher.  The connection that I will have to this beautiful and perfect piece of jewelry was not planned ...it just happened.

Thanks Again,
Julia

Have a comment? I'll put it up good or bad.
