**Link: My dirty joke on this goes, "...he likes to scream 'touch it' on the soccer field because it is the only time he can say that to little boys without getting arrested." ***Link: Allow me to pose a question. I discovered that a previous coach transferred $4,000 directly from the 'team' checking account to his personal checking account the month before he moved from the state of Ohio. As Team Administrator and on the advice of an attorney, I filed a police report with the Warren County Sheriffs Department. When the WCSD Detectives attempted to investigate the alleged missing money, the club treasurer told them that the Warren County Soccer Club wanted no part of any investigation. Now I am not prescient, but doesn't that seem odd? The Board of the club agreed with the decision not to look into missing money that totaled in the thousands of dollars? Perhaps I am just a businessperson, or just a soccer mom, but it seems to me that a bright light should shine on any questions of financial impropriety in youth soccer (or any sport or activity) that purports to be in the 'business' of teaching young men and women how to be good citizens of the field and the world. Am I wrong? Naive? *Link: In case you doubt me on the Village People part, I submit photographic evidence below.....just imagine him running in shiny, tight black pants and t-shirt with a fanny pack bouncing around his waist. Sometimes for fun, he mixes it up with a tight, white tank top. (I mean no disrespect to the Village People by the comparison after their numerous accomplishments, but the resemblance is uncanny.)
I know the appendices are out of order, but due to the picture parameters I cannot help it.
